Freddy The Dyke LP
Following the split tape with Blodsprut, this is the first full length LP from Stavanger-duo Freddy The Dyke. The album is a natural continuation of the material from the tape digging deeper into their industrial hard core futuristic sound, still bearing influences from both tribal music and 90's electronica. The LP runs 30 minutes and is mixed by Anders Hana. It is enclosed in a beatiful 4colour Drid Machine-silkscreened sleeve with design by Yasutoshi Yoshida.
Skadne Krek LP
A debut record on which this quartet introduce a contemporary blend of prog, electronica and rock with disregard for any tradition. Skadne Krek's music is based on grooves, estral bass guitar and home made samples.
Gaute Granli - Velkommen Til Forus
"I think, in fact I am sure, Granli plays guitar and has a bunch of electronics at his disposal. He strums, hits, bangs, fires the guitar around, mildly distorted, and adds electronics where necessary, but somehow it always manages to sound like a guitar. Sometimes it's very loud, in the sense of good ol' noise/power electronics, but the free range of his playing takes the matter at hand to a more quieter land occasionally. Gaute Granli is a fine improvisers on the guitar, and I was thinking: why would you want to do this solo and not part of some sort of band?"
